Q: What kind of tech do you take?
I accept most computer gear and electronics, including laptops, desktops, monitors, tablets, keyboards, cables, routers, and accessories. If you’re not sure, just ask!
Q: Do you pay cash for items?
In most cases, I work on a consignment basis. That means I clean it up, list it for sale, and once it sells, you get a cut. If it’s not sellable, I’ll recycle it properly at no cost.
Q: What happens if my gear doesn’t sell?
If something doesn’t sell after a fair try, I’ll offer to donate, repurpose, or recycle it responsibly—whatever makes the most sense. I’ll always keep you in the loop.
Q: Do I need to wipe my computer first?
No worries if you can’t. I offer data-wiping and reset services as part of the process to protect your privacy. Just let me know.
Q: Is pickup available?
Yes! I offer free local pickup in the Cowichan Valley for most items. We can also arrange a safe public drop-off if you prefer.
Q: What if my stuff is really old or broken?
Don’t toss it just yet! I may be able to salvage parts or ensure it is recycled properly. Even old or broken tech can have value, or at least be kept out of the landfill.
